About Betsy
Ever since I can remember, I've always had a passion for creating and studying art. Throughout my high school and college years, I took every art class I possibly could. I loved nothing more than to discuss composition, color, form, and content of a piece. While I have always loved to draw and photograph, it was in college where I took my first formal photography class. I loved it. Whether using a manual SLR camera and hand-developing film, manipulating polaroids, taking slide film, or using a digital camera - it is clear to me that photography is a passion I will be pursuing for the rest of my life.
My goal is to create images that are real, unique, artistic, photojournalistic, and sophisticated. I believe the best photographs come from real life, so at a wedding or an event, I stand back and capture the day as it happens. I will do my best to create beautiful photographs for you, and I will do it in organized and timely fashion. If my style appeals to you, I would be honored to be your photographer- for whatever the event may be!
